Children’s parties are up to two hours long, however longer hire can be arranged. The Oopsy Daisy Party Bus usually arrives about 15 minutes before the party starts, which gives us time to park, get ready and welcome the birthday boy/girl aboard the party playbus. The children come on board and the party begins.
The Party and Games
The party is very much structured with free play time and organised games - examples being pass the parcel, musical statues, treasure hunt, toilet roll mummifying, cross bow (for older age groups) piñata and many more. The choice of games are decided on the children’s age and ability on the day but we are always happy with requests. There's a lovely prize for every winner followed by a cheer and a clap!
The entertainment doesn't finish there, we also have a very clown-like cheeky driver who really does take as much as the children can give him!! From ball fights (on a gentle scale to the children of course) to a cream pie in the face (drivers face only). This privilege equally has to be achieved via a game of treasure collection. Throughout the party, other members of staff on board help the children win and encourage all involved.
When the party is due to finish, the birthday child is invited to sit in the drivers seat so that he or she can give each child a party bag and wave goodbye to the guests as they leave the bus. Also allowing Mum or Dad an opportunity to take those special photos.
